Arizona Painted Desert Clouds Rain Daily Oil Painting

sold
"Rain on the Horizon" The Painted Desert had such a quiet stillness to it, however, the everchanging sky cast light and shadow on the landscape making it so alive. We were in awe of the slow moving rainstorm in the distance. This original oil painting is 6"x6" on primed masonite.

Sounds like you had a good time out west. I have only been to the Mississippi River in Elvis town. Some day I will cross it. Good paintings!

Thank you Chris. I hope you get to venture out past the Mississippi soon! I like the dapper profile picture:)

I have a hat like that. That's an old Leyendecker cigarette ad. Those old ads are humorous, touting the health benefits of smoking etc.

Cool! Yes, I just watched "From here to Eternity" and the first thing one of the soldiers does after running up a mountain is stop and have a cigarette-can you imagine!!??
